Hello!

Hope all are well

It's been more than a year since my last journal post - eep... now am working in a crazy emergency department in Middle England where half the people are Rah's and the remaining majority just plain crackers - or so it would appear, and attempting to revise for the first of may postgraduate exams in my hope of maybe someday making it as a plastic surgeon.

Anyhoo - I've just recently been on a very interesting course called 'Drawing for Surgeons' run by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and it was MARVELLOUS! I'm so glad I went on it cos its really woken up my interest and the teacher - wow, not only was he a brilliant teacher, but was so incredibly inspiring and encouraging. I went away from the course 'not seeing objects but the spaces and shapes that make up the objects' - and consquently almost falling into the gap between the platform and the Tube (subway train) - ha. And he performed miracles - i can now draw hands!! yay!

Hopefully I'm gonna keep practising and soon I might post something new, if only a few sketches.
